Hue & Cry Collective: Art PRIZE

From the 2nd to the 23rd of September, I featured in the “Art Prize” at Geelong’s Hue & Cry Collective located in the Geelong CBD. An arts hub for emerging and established artists. In this art prize I decided to enter my artwork “Warmth” (Acrylic on canvas, 12inch x 12inch) from my series "Chromatic Journeys: Exploring the Psyche of Colour Perception".

Warmth entails the feelings I personally project onto this colour scheme, evoking a sense of depth and adoration, the feeling of a summers afternoon at the beach, watching a sunset with the people you hold dearest to your heart. Each person is entitled to their own perception of what these colours mean to them.
